Excellent first person shooter set underwater

Bioshock is a first-person shooter that mixes horror with underwater action to deliver a surprisingly good game.

Bioshock is set in 1960 where you play the role of a plane crash survivor named Jack who must explore the underwater city of Rapture avoiding mutilation by the monsters and mechanical drones that lurk in it. Bioshock combines role-playing survival with elements if the game System Shock and has been praised for its "morally driven storyline", immersive environment and back story.

The game is easy to control, with the usual WASD keyboard combination. Bioshock offers superb quality graphics with some pumping music to get your adrenalin flowing. This atmosphere sucks you in and and you'll soon become immersed in the world of Rapture. The only thing to be careful with is that Bioshock is very heavy on your CPU and graphics cards and so you may find that older generation Macs may struggle with it.

In addition, for reasons beyond our control, we can only offer you the direct download of the installation file from the publisher site. You'll need a torrent client to download the installation file. We recommend using Transmission.

Bioshock is a superb first-person shooter that will get you gripped sooner than you think.
